Our Commitment

Zippylang is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying relevant accessibility standards.

As an educational platform designed for primary school children (ages 5-11), we recognise the importance of making our content accessible to all learners, including those with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive impairments.

Conformance Status

Zippylang aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

We are committed to meeting the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA)and the EN 301 549 standard for digital accessibility within the European Union.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some content may have limitations:

  • Interactive Games: Some game elements may require visual interaction. We are working on alternative experiences.
  • Third-party Content: Embedded content from third parties may not meet all accessibility standards.
  • PDF Downloads: Some downloadable worksheets may have accessibility limitations.
